Senior Pet Care

As our pets age, their health and well-being require special attention. Each senior pet has  unique needs, and a personalized healthcare plan is essential to address their changing  physiology. Providing optimal care for senior pets involves a comprehensive approach that  includes preventive care, medical treatments, and interventions in areas like pain  management, nutrition, dental health, and the management of multiple health conditions.

We recommend scheduling senior wellness exams twice a year. These visits typically  include a complete blood count, chemistry panel, and urinalysis. In some cases, further  diagnostic tests such as additional lab work or imaging may be necessary.

Senior care is a collaborative effort, requiring the commitment and teamwork of a loving  caregiving team. At PRAH, we are dedicated to working alongside you to ensure your pet  receives the best care, helping them enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling life during this  rewarding yet sometimes challenging stage.
